Conduct environmental, social, and economic assessments of farms' sustainability using IDEA model (Indicateurs de Durabilité des Exploitations Agricoles)

Provide extension services to producers (farmers and food processors) including technical training sessions and field visits

Propose and implement appropriate interventions for food processing units following the GMP evaluation results (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Set-up and implement efficient marketing strategies to gain market positioning through the differentiation of agricultural products (brand name, logo, label development) and increased exposure (marketing, advertising and promotions)
In an effort to preserve sustainable farming, ILAC project works towards local autonomy in food production and consumption throughout commercialization of Lebanese products under the brand name WATANEH. WATANEH products and produce will be distributed in a network of local shops committed to operate with respect to fair trade principles leading to increased food sovereignty.
